CREATING A SACRED ENVIRONMENT

In order for your spirit to thrive it needs to dwell in an atmosphere of sacred and positive vibration. We have many tools available to us to help create that special environment. One of the most important things you can do is to create a sacred space that you can visit to nourish your spirit, meditate on your issues, and release stress on a daily basis.

A small table in a room you can call your own is ideal for this purpose, but it is just as nice to steal a small area of your dresser or end table and place the following items. This list is only meant as a guide, but it is a good one.

Place a scarf on the surface. Place a candle in the center, perhaps a flower or two in a vase, incense and burner, a crystal, and any icon that represents your spiritual faith. You might want to add a photo of loved ones who have crossed over as well as those who are alive and well. Gather up one or two things that you feel embody your hopes, dreams, friends, family, work and love, and place them there. This is the perfect place to write and keep a journal.

Remember to treat this space with love and respect and you will receive the same in return. This is your personal sacred space and it will be a solace to you in times of need and a place of celebration in times of jubilation. Embrace this space regularly and routinely and you will soon discover it to be a private haven of personal bliss.

Blessings of God,
Major
