MARKING MAGIC MOMENTS

“One picture is worth a thousand words,” says the famous saying; ‘Every picture tells a story?” asks Rod Stewart in the well-known song.

What stories are you telling of your life right now? Are you capturing the memories and putting them out for others to see, or are you lost in sea of JPEGS that are cluttering up your computer? Though you may be fortunate to have captured those special moments, you may not have taken the time to weed thru them for the keepers. The art of sharing memories the old fashioned way –in a book—is all but gone. So, though you may have the convenience of sharper, faster photographs, you lose the intimacy of the moment, and you deprive the generations that follow you of having an accurate, personal record of your existence.

My suggestion would to have a Picture Party. Take all those digital photos and put them on CD, and gather all those other photos that you have lying around and put them in a box. Purchase a few special books for your new photo library and invite family and friends to an evening of Memories. You will be creating a family history for many years from now, and your descendants (and ancestors) will be grateful for it!

Blessings of God,
Major
