FOLLOWING YOUR PASSIONThe general description of “passion” is something that is desired intensely through strong emotion. Every day, people go about working at their jobs with the express desire to make enough money to make ends meet. The “strong emotion” that propels them forward is the fear of poverty. But where is it written that you must work at something you don't like in order to still that fear? What makes one individual rich and another poor is their mindset. That mindset becomes the foundation of how they visualize their financial state. As Dr. Wayne Dyer says, “Change the way you look at things, and things you look at change.” Once you do that you will begin to know what your riches really are so that you can create that state of abundance. Ask yourself this question: If you could work at your passion for a living, what might that passion be? For example, one of Linda's clients said his passion was that he loved to watch movies, and he rented them daily. He pointed out “you can't make money watching movies on the couch in your apartment.” But that is exactly what he is doing today. Linda had suggested that he look into following that passion by finding a way to be compensated for watching movies. Today, he is a video and DVD critic for movie rental houses. He gets paid to watch movies and provides written reviews of them for major magazines. Following your passion is the easiest thing you can do to remove fear and work with joy. It takes diligence, goal setting and right action. But first and foremost it takes a belief that all things are possible, so that you are able to recognize your passion when you see it.
